<image:title>Green Spaces - The Biophilia Project wants to grow more green spaces to create direct access to nature in places like schools and residential areas. Please get in touch if you feel that a school or a residential area near you needs more green. Our goal is to empower children, connect people and deliver happiness.</image:title>
<image:caption>There is no need to spend money to have a beautiful corner where butterflies can land on colourful flowers or another one where children can lead their experiences to grow some vegetables. We can help, get in touch! What we do: Reuse and recycle Provide natural loose parts for school playgrounds Support wildlife Support transition to circular economy Connect people to support local projects</image:caption>

The Biophila Project has donated a seed library to kick off the project. St Anne’s School, South Gloucestershire The first week of February 2020 during the Children's Mental Health Week, Explore and Play was launched at St Anne’s school, South Gloucestershire, in collaboration with The Movement Foundation. <image:title>Green Souls - The programs are designed to support child led initiatives and child led play. Why is unstructured outdoor play so important?</image:title>
<image:caption>“Play is a natural built-in process that has served our species for a long time. Through play emerge our educational instincts. The natural environment for learning, the one where learning really thrive, is a space where individuals have the opportunity to have much free time and space in which to play and explore; (b) can mix freely with others of all ages; (c) have access to culturally relevant tools and equipment and are free to play and explore with those items; (d) are free to express and debate any ideas that they wish to express and debate; (e) are free from bullying (which includes freedom from being ordered around arbitrarily by adults); and (f) have a voice that is heard in the group’s decision-making process.” — Peter Gray, Ph.D.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Forest School - Forest School.</image:title>
<image:caption>Forest School is the name of a specific ethos – a way of working with people in an outdoor natural space for an extended period of time, often a full year. Qualified practitioners carefully facilitate programmes which are uniquely tailored to the needs of the individuals within the group and have the fundamental aim of building participants’ self esteem, confidence, independence and creativity. The name does not refer to an actual place; it refers to the philosophy. Forest School programmes work in a variety of situations and locations (not just schools). Therefore, it is not possible for schools to become ‘a Forest School’, however schools can provide Forest School programmes for their pupils.</image:caption>
